How content is made

Duckie articles and tool copy may be drafted or researched with AI assistance and then edited by Duckie. Editorial review is not the same as medical review. A page has been medically reviewed only when it names the qualified reviewer and their credentials.

Source standards

We aim to prioritize current guidance from government health agencies, professional medical organizations, systematic reviews, and peer-reviewed research. Older articles may include secondary or commercial sources; the presence of a citation does not by itself establish source quality or prove a claim.

Language standards

We avoid calling a product universally “safe,” “toxic,” or “pediatrician approved” without adequate evidence. We distinguish ingredient hazards from real-world risk and identify important context such as dose, concentration, route, age, and individual health factors whenever that information is available.

Medical boundary

Duckie provides general educational information. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace care from a pediatrician or another qualified professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

We welcome corrections at hello@duckieapp.com. Include the page URL, the statement at issue, and a supporting source when possible. Material corrections should be reflected in the content, and pages may be revised as guidance or evidence changes.
